Isabelle (she/her/hers) graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2017 with a B.A. in Public Health and a minor in Psychology. After college, she worked in various New York City bakeries and was also an English tutor. In 2021, Isabelle graduated from the Boston College School of Social Work with a Master of Social Work specializing in clinical practice with a concentration in Children, Youth, and Families and a certificate in Neuroscience and Social Work. At Boston College, she worked as a Research Assistant in Dr. Jessica Black’s lab examining the intersection of neurodivergence, religion, and higher education as well as practice implications. Additionally, Isabelle spent time working with Dr. Samuel Bradley on various diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, such as creating a database for promising practices in diversity, equity, and inclusion work. She also worked with Dr. Usha Tummala-Narra investigating the psychotherapy experiences among 1.5 and 2nd generation Koreans, with emphasis on race, culture, and context. After graduating with her Master of Social Work, Isabelle became a Clinical Research Specialist at Boston Children’s Hospital, primarily working on the General Anesthesia & Brain Activity (GABA) Study, which examines the impact of early life anesthesia exposure on trajectories of brain function. Outside of work, she enjoys running, taking workout classes, spending time with family and friends, and trying new restaurants!
