Joshua Paul Rodriguez, B.S.

Joshua Paul (he/him/his) received his B.S. from Northeastern University in 2022, majoring in data science and psychology in a combined program. He worked in Ajay Stapute's Affective Brain Sciences Lab (ABSLab) studying functional projections of subcortical structures in the context of affective constructivism. Post-graduation, he continued work in the ABSLab as a lab tech and joined the PINELab as a developer for HAPPE. Joshua Paul is now a PhD student under Lisa Feldman Barrett, Karen Quigley and Jordan Theriault (primary) in the Interdisplinary Affective Science Lab (IASLab) interested in computational structures and tooling for the formalization of brain-body regulation. Outside of research, Joshua Paul loves the local Boston music scene, plays an Irish drum called the bodhrán, and enjoys road cycling and skateboarding.
