Lilia Dean
Lilia (she/her/hers) is currently pursuing a B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology at Northeastern University and minoring in Psychology. She is involved in multiple initiatives in the Boston community to support children and their families. She regularly volunteers in the Cardiac ICU at Boston Children’s Hospital, as well as UNICEF Northeastern. She has also worked under Dr. Colleen Kelly at the University of Massachusetts Lowell in biochemical research, looking at the binding force of Spike Proteins of SARS-COVID19. Her current aspiration is to go into the pediatric medical field down the road, specifically to work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and cooking!
