Dr. Alessandro “Ollie” D’Amico
Dr. Alessandro “Ollie” D’Amico received a B.S. and Ph.D. in Cognitive Science from the University of California, San Diego. Ollie’s research interests revolve around using non-invasive scalp electroencephalography (EEG) to study naturalistic cognition at scale. His specific interests include using low-cost, low-density EEG for large-scale neural data collection, using video games as alternative paradigms for cognitive neuroscience research, and developing brain-computer interfaces. Outside of the lab, Ollie loves playing, studying and developing games as well as making music, rock climbing, and analyzing the absurdity of life with friends and family.
