Skye Toral

Skye (they/them/theirs) graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science and Behavioral Neuroscience from Northeastern University in 2025. They will begin their M.S. in Computer Science in Fall 2025 until Spring 2026 through a 1-year masters program at Northeastern University. As an undergraduate, they worked in Timothy Morris's Brain ImPACT Lab on an incentive study in older adults who had suffered from a traumatic brain injury, where they created a platform to collect and analyze data obtained from FitBit. Their biggest research interests are looking at different ways software engineering and machine learning approaches could influence and improve neurological research, specifically neuronal activity and genetic influences on behavior. While in Boston, Skye loves to use their free time playing video games, exploring around with friends, tinkering with robotics, and listening to many different kinds of music.
